Scantraq is able to convert paper documents to over 20 different types of output format, including PDF/A, Microsoft® Office and XML. With connections to dozens of external systems such as business platforms, ERPs and document management systems (including Infotraq) Scantraq is the perfect bridge between your paper world and digital systems.
Configuring Scantraq couldn’t be easier: simply create a centralized capture workflow and the server application automatically deploys to all authorized scanning clients. Any workflow changes are automatically updated at the client side, minimizing any specialist knowledge required by scanning operators. And with a range of embedded multifunctional clients, as well as the versatile Windows® Desktop Client, just about any scan-enabled device can be transformed into a powerful document automation engine, with Scantraq.
Scantraq offers a host of functionality as standard, including the ability to connect to a multifunctional device and a Windows® scanning client, straight out of the box. And with a generous set of modules as standard (including SQL, email, Windows File System, Visual Basic scripting) you can start implementing your capture immediately.
With full LDAP and AD integration it’s easy to implement secure document capture workflows with Scantraq, whether to a document system, email (including Microsoft® Exchange) or a user’s home directory.
When your data capture needs grow you’ll be pleased to hear that extended options and modules for Scantraq are charged per server, not per client as with some other solutions. This ensures that even the more advanced scanning options are kept affordable no matter how many scanning devices or users you are supporting.
Speaking of advanced options, Scantraq options include the intelligent FreeForms module which is able to automatically detect and process which type of form is being scanned, and select an appropriate workflow, reducing potential errors and improving productivity. Special Bitonal Compression and Intelligent Character Recognition (hand writing) modules are also available for advanced capture workflows.
