FOLLOW-ME

The Follow-me feature helps to efficiently distribute the use of printers and MFPs throughout the company and reduces the time employees spend waiting in lines. Users send print jobs to YSoft SafeQ queues and can then print the jobs at any convenient printer—the print job “follows” the user to any printer. 

Follow-me protects the security of confidential documents because documents are not printed until employees use their ID card to authenticate at the printer—so printed documents do not wait unattended at printers. 

3D REPORTS 

YSoft SafeQ provides customized reports about all printing and copying operations, in easy-to-read, text-based or graphical 3D chart format. Reports provide detailed information about users, printers and costs. YSoft SafeQ reports give you the knowledge you need to take charge and control your printing environment. 

WEB INTERFACE 

The user-friendly YSoft SafeQ Web Interface enables you to easily monitor and manage all aspects of your company’s print environment. The familiar, web-based interface makes it easy to instantly navigate to the YSoft SafeQ feature you want to use. 

FORCE B/W AND FORCE DUPLEX 

YSoft SafeQ Instant includes two features you can configure to help automate the reduction of printing costs: Force B/W enables you to enforce black-ink-only printing; Force Duplex enforces printing on both sides. While both functions offer users the option to override them, these two functions help individual employees and entire departments lower their printing and copying costs. 

PRINT QUOTAS 

With YSoft SafeQ Instant quotas, you can curb costs by limiting print and copy operations. You can set quotas for individuals, departments, or printers that limit the amount and type of operations that can be performed for specified lengths of time (for example, monthly). 

AUTOMATIC EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS

REPLICATION OF ACTIVE DIRECTORY DATA 

YSoft SafeQ Instant can replicate the structure of user and cost center data as it exists in your current Active Directory—so it is not necessary to create a separate YSoft SafeQ database from scratch.
