MicrDIMM Pro lets you print cheques and cheque-letters with the highest quality, speed and security on a normal HP LaserJet printer equipped with special magnetic ink and a secure printing firmware.

Though your payroll and accounts payable functions are well served by application software, their specialized printing needs often rely on dedicated MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) printers as well as pre-printed cheque stock. This increases your printer investment without improving the return, and means incremental running costs for specialized maintenance, preprinting and paper-handling. 

Jetmobile MicrDIMM Pro prints high quality cheques with fully readable MICR encoding without needing dedicated stock or printers. This opens up possibilities for improved processes by letting you change banking information from cheque to cheque (to issue cheque from multiple accounts on a single sheet) or printing cheque with ccompanying letters or statements to simplify your mailing procedures.

Jetmobile MicrDIMM Pro has a range of security features that prevent unauthorized access or interference (including an optional hardware keylock that must be physically enabled to print cheques), that prevent duplicate printing, that secure the forms, fonts and signatures you use, and that add security fonts to continue protecting the cheque from tampering after it has been printed.

How MicrDIMM Pro works

Jetmobile MicrDIMM Pro is inserted in your HP LaserJet printer just like a memory expansion, instantly adding to the printer’s firmware the ability to securely and perfectly print cheques.

Jetmobile MicrDIMM Pro generates MICR lines and controls the printing of date like amount, bank logos or signatures, without affecting the rest of the printer’s functionality. Special code sequences enable and disable MICR printing and secure digits. An optional sensor for the MICR toner prevents printing MICR information without the proper ink. The ease of installation of Jetmobile MicrDIMM Pro also reduces your vulnerability to printer down time: you can create another MICR printer by moving Jetmobile MicrDIMM Pro to any similar HP LaserJet printer.
