Take control of your printing resources with MegaTrack. This Windows-based software solution lets you track detailed printer and consumable usage information by printer, user, project, department or cost center. Automated reports, in-depth cost information and customized data help you target waste, forecast future printing needs, and allocate printing costs to the appropriate parties. MegaTrack's Quota Module helps control costs by allowing Administrators to set print page limits per user. The MIPA (MegaTrack In Printer Agent) and DTM (Direct Tracking Module) module enables data tracking at the printer level. Pair MegaTrack with a Capella Technologies VeriUser Authentication solutions to track MFP copy, fax and scanning functions.
All the HP printers use the PCL standard to control the output to the printed page. The comparative standard for the IBM mainframe and AS/400-iSeries environment is called AFP/IPDS. By adding the Blue Kit™ IPDS Solution, IBM IPDS emulation is added to the HP LaserJet printer without having to change the existing LAN interface.
TROY Group, Inc. develops & manufactures the highest quality MICR Toner products in the industry. MICR Toner cartridge performance, printer compatibility, and bank acceptance rates from TROY are unsurpassed.
Jetmobile MicrDIMM Pro prints high quality cheques with fully readable MICR encoding without needing dedicated stock or printers. This opens up possibilities for improved processes by letting you change banking information from cheque to cheque (to issue cheque from multiple accounts on a single sheet) or printing cheque with ccompanying letters or statements to simplify your mailing procedures.
The Blue Server™ is a powerful server-based printing solution enabling any LAN printer to service IBM Mainframe and Midrange systems applications. It runs on a Windows server or workstation and requires neither intervention nor change on existing applications. It has been designed for both decentralized and production environments.
The MegaTrack In Printer Agent (MIPA) lets you record and monitor printer and MFP activity directly at the device, enhancing accountability and giving you the ability to assign costs, forecast expenses and target waste and abuse. By collecting data directly inside the printer or MFP device, this “in printer” solution provides a significantly more precise accounting of printer activity than methods that rely on SNMP traps or MIB polling. It also offers the ability to track copy, fax and digital sending activity on MFP devices.
LinkCom III S is a multifunction and versatile protocol converter designed to support both IBM host printing and any PC/LAN printing on laser printers including laser printers with MFP capabilities. LinkCom III S features a two port switch for connection to the network and for connection to the printer. IBM host print data will be translated in the LinkCom III S and converted into PCL or PostScript and sent to the printer using TCP/IP. PC/LAN printing is directed transparently via the switch of LinkCom III S and sent unchanged to the printer. Any MFP capability of the printer e.g. remote configuration, scanning or fax option is maintained and fully operational.
MIPA PIN tracks printer and mfp usage directly inside the device, offering improved accuracy and reliability over SNMP traps and MIB polling methods. Each time the printer or mfp is used, MIPA PIN collects important data about the job and records this data to either the printer’s hard disk or to a small amount of compact flash memory. This data can then be accessed and uploaded using the MegaTrack Reporting Tool (MRT), providing an easy way to track printer and mfp usage by user, department, project or cost center. Additionally, administrators can track consumption of paper and toner, color vs. black and white print use and more, helping to better forecast future printer and consumable requirements.
Tired of spending money and floor space on pin-fed, impact printers that are only suitable for printing “green bar” reports? ReportPrint gives legacy ERP applications the ability to output standard 80, 132 or 200 character green bar reports on popular HP LaserJet printers. In addition to eliminating the need for dedicated printing hardware and pin-fed paper, ReportPrint accelerates the printing process, saving you time as well. ReportPrint is pre-configured to emulate the 132 characters by 66 line text format found on high-speed line printers, so there's no programming required and no complicated set-up....
The Fontware DataSTORM print Appliance is a unique turnkey multiport print datastream manipulation gateway that acts like a print server and network bridge. It is possible to modify and add logical functions including search and replace, triggers, variables and reprint, to produce user defined output on a per queue/printer basis. Forms, macros and fonts can be stored within the device and manipulated on individual page.
Professional multi-platform electronic forms - MegaForm provides a multi-platform solution to turn raw printer or data files into high quality professional electronic forms.
SD Express uses the Internet to provide remote access to business printers. Authorized users can access SD Express equipped office printers from across the street or across the country without the need or expense of dedicated network connections. And that’s just the beginning... From personnel files, to financial documents, to proprietary marketing data and advertising campaigns, businesses print all types of files that are sensitive or confidential in nature. Even in a standard office environment, these types of documents are at risk of undesired exposure through intentional or unintentional mis-routing and interception. Using simple, commonly available software tools, technically savvy employees can easily view or alter the data while it’s queued in printer spool files. Transmit these files over the Internet, and the risk of unauthorized access or alteration is even greater.
SecureDIMM is an integral component of a comprehensive solution that protects sensitive print job data using advanced encryption technology. When a document is printed the data is often stored in spool files, where it can be viewed, or even altered, with tools as simple as the Microsoft Windows Notepad program. More technically savvy users can even intercept the data directly from the network as it travels to the printer. Even simple mistakes such as directing a print job to the wrong printer can unintentionally expose sensitive data.
TROY's patented anti-fraud technology forces a bright red stain to appear if chemical alteration of a document is attempted. Available in two variations TROY Security and TROY MICR Toner Secure™ allows users to protect the words and graphics printed.
ELP installed on VMS, Solaris, AIX, Linux, Unix, Tru64 or AS/400 operates as a filter and on Windows NT/2000/XP/2003/Vista/2008 (32 Bit and 64Bit, Cluster server and Terminal server is available as well) as a print processor. It's also compatible with the BETA Versions of Windows 7 and 2008R2! This guarantees that ELP does not need any system resources in idle mode. The following graphic gives an overview illustrating the most important functions such as controlling print functions (non carbon copies, tray pulling, electronic forms, bar codes and much more), distributed printing (e.g. using email PDF attachment), archiving and accounting.
