A simple tool that allows print consultants and IT professionals to discover the real cost of their office printers and help keep those costs down. Works with any device and has graphical and tabular interface.

How it works - a simple 3 stage process

Collect

SCAN entire or selected range of IP addresses - previous scans can be loaded automatically

ADD data manually if required such as printers not connected to the network

CUSTOMISE columns to include information that isn't collected in the scan - e.g. building, floor department or whether the printer is under contract.

SCHEDULE scans to take place automatically and have the results emailed or sent to an FTP server.

Analyse

AUDIT information on the printing environment is collected including fields such as manufacturer, model, total pages printed, total mono & colour pages printed, % toner remaining and many more

SEARCH functionality allows filters to be applied, e.g. only display a certain manufacturers devices, or only show printers that are not under contract etc…

USAGE statistics can be displayed as an average for daily / monthly / yearly time periods - only a single scan is required.

COST statistics can be displayed as an average for daily / monthly / yearly time periods - again, only a single scan is required

DISPLAY information in either a tabular or graphical format

Export

COLLECTED data can be exported to a number of formats including

• CSV 
• EXCEL

PLUS the data can also be exported ready for import into our analysis tool – KPAX Design or others such as AssetDB & DocuAudit. These assists in making the printing environment more efficient by simulating the removal of devices and thus analysing the potential cost savings.
