KPAX puts the app in Apple with new KPAX Inventory
Apple’s iPad will be a ‘massive hit’ this Christmas, according to gadget magazine Stuff. Apple sold over four million iPads in the last quarter, and has stepped up production to meet Christmas demand.
As well as topping gift lists, iPad has proven to be a great productivity tool for mobile business users. Fontware is looking forward to an Apple New Year for print professionals with the launch of an iPad app by managed print services firm KPAX Soft. Called KPAX Inventory, the app enables users to create a detailed onsite diagram of customers’ printing environments.
‘Tap to map’
While touring the premises with an iPad, operators can simply ‘tap to map’ equipment locations and annotate the entries with data to create a comprehensive visual inventory.
A built-in survey module collates real-time employee feedback, providing a grass roots picture of equipment preferences and issues such as location, availability and functionality.
Print professionals can then use the quantified responses to assess fleet efficiency and provide a substantiated, customer-driven recommendation for a new solution.
Integrated MPS range
This latest addition to the KPAX range works in conjunction with KPAX Discover, a USB print auditing key which collates MFD data for usage analysis. The range is completed with KPAX Design fleet optimisation software, and the KPAX Manage fleet management system.
During the solution design stage, KPAX Inventory adds a valuable visual representation of the location set-up for print professionals to include in customer reports generated using KPAX Design.
KPAX provides industry-leading solutions for managed print services tools, and is the only supplier with a complete portfolio of integrated products. Fontware is proud to be the sole UK and Ireland distributor for KPAX, and looks forward to demonstrating KPAX Inventory to print professionals in the New Year. Contact us now for details.
